Teddy's Bath Day!

Teddy's Bath Day!, originally uploaded by ~intoxicating flutter~.
Teddy needs bathing just as much as we do!!!! This was such a fun composition, I like the colours, tones and textural effect with the towel and bear. I enjoyed this shot for fun that it implies to the viewer. Something for everyone.

The Storm of the Century Part3

The Storm of the Century Part3, originally uploaded by ~intoxicating flutter~.

This was a race against time and the wind I thought would knock me over before I could capture the shear size of the storm front. WOOOSH! This capture gives a nice connection and balance between the hillside and the enormity and shape of the cloud. The buildings in the background gives the viewer perspective and understanding of the size of the subject.
Unfortunately this last two weeks I have had no PC as it is being serviced. How does a photographer live without their tools??? I have only been able to access a computer whist at uni.....stay tuned for new pics. The Storm of the Century that hit Melbourne was all I managed to upload before my unfortunate computer melt down. What an awesome feeling standing on Jackson's Hill as the storm approached and nearly blew me over!

Silent Scream

Silent Scream, originally uploaded by ~intoxicating flutter~.
Art and photography meet artistic expression and emotions....The tones and shadows are cold and give the viewer more of an understanding to the emotive intentions of the capture. The blur also gives a sense of the state of the subject.

A present from my little boy :)

My six year old picked me a flower at school this week, when he came home he thought it was dead!! We put it in a glass of water and fixed the flower. What a little cutie :o)

Being a single mum is a hard job but these moments make it so rewarding!!

Some post processing on PC
