Nature provides the most beautiful silhouettes on a foggy Autumn morning in the country, the stark trees against the fog bordered with the warmth of the blanket of grass beneath.....

Cattitude!

He certainly has attitude. But such silken fur the texture in his portraits makes me  want to reach out and touch the image. This was my intention with this composition. I also think the contrast of his green eyes with the purple/pink blanket and his green eyes helps to balance this image.

Hope is coming for me

Testing my creativity with silhouette against sunshine, post processing minimal.

Body Parts

This photograph was a difficult capture for me the portrait of three girls in sync and in motion while skipping. I was most happy with the shadow effect underneath each of their feet, giving the image a sense of them floating above the floor of the gym.

Pattern

I love finding patterns that are found in nature. This Echeveria gives a repetition that the eye can follow, pattern in photographs can give the picture a balance or rhythm that the eye can follow. The colour in this capture also encourages the eye to follow the rosette pattern as the shadows of the leaves bring the pattern to the fore.
